Dr Liz Mearns is the Liberal Democrat for Chiseldon and Ridgeway. Liz volunteers at Swindon Citizens Advice Bureau. Liz has lived in Wanborough for 30 years and will be fighting for a fairer deal for local people. She cares about our community and wants to hear from you about your concerns and issues. Liz will be out in the community she cares for so take the opportunity to engage with her. 

In the last council elections in 2025, Liberal Democrats saw 370 councilors being elected, gaining 163. The Liberal Democrats now control more councils than the Conservatives. Its time for more fairness for local people, better healthcare, cleaner water and less chaos on our roads. 

The coming election on 7th May will be close between Liberal Democrats and chaos and decline with the Conservatives and Reform UK.
