Rob Sadler

Rob is the local party data officer, responsible for IT systems and GDPR compliance.

Rob has lived in Marlborough for more than 30 years, sending two children through the local state school system. A physicist by training, he spent his career in the electricity industry in a variety of analytical and accounting roles. After taking early retirement in 2022 Rob got involved in local politics, and was Campaign Manager for the Lib Dems 2024 General Election campaign in East Wiltshire. He enjoys writing political songs on the ukulele, including “Vote Dave”, the viral hit of the 2024 campaign.

The last 15 years have been a disaster for this country, with austerity and Brexit both self inflicted wounds causing huge damage to the country and especially those most in need. Labour have become a centre-right party wringing their hands but not doing enough. Reform would drag us further down the road to ruin. We need a politics of care and renewal.
